Adults are fully initiated into the Catholic Church through a process of prayer, study and liturgical rites. Candidates for Initiation include the unbaptized, those baptized in other Christian traditions and baptized Catholics who have not received first Eucharist and/or Confirmation. The process of initiation is at heart a journey of faith which culminates in the celebration of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist. A St. Pius parish companion accompanies each candidate on their journey of faith. Godparents and confirmation sponsors are chosen by the candidates. Initiation sessions begin in September and are held weekly. If you are interested, contact Anthony Lavorata at 393-4445.
