Twice each year, we celebrate a communal Anointing of the Sick and Elderly at all Masses during one weekend. This is an especially moving sacrament for all those in need of God's healing. Christ walked among the sick and outcasts, reaching out to bring his healing touch to their lives. He cured the lame, the deaf, and the blind and raised the dead to new life. In imitation of the love of Christ, the Church tenderly reaches out to share Christ's healing with the sick among us.
