Encounter is a program designed for public and parochial students in 9th grade to help prepare them for Confirmation class next year. It teaches students the importance of serving others in the community, how to become young leaders at St. Pius, and helps them to grow in both faith and fellowship with others their age.
Throughout the Encounter program, we focus on the Seven Principles of Catholic Social Teaching as means to experience the need for service and leadership in all aspects of our lives. Encounter includes monthly sessions as well as service opportunities.
